Sustainable by Design
We are proud to be recognised by Surfers Against Sewage for our efforts to reduce plastic waste. We’ve been awarded the SAS Plastic Free Champion award for our commitment to this important cause.
Every year, around 12 million tonnes of plastic end up in the ocean. Plastic has been discovered in some of the most remote places on Earth, from the deep ocean to the icy waters of Antarctica, and even along the UK’s beaches.
This plastic pollution is causing serious harm to our oceans. Birds, whales, and turtles are often affected when they mistake plastic for food or get trapped in packaging and abandoned fishing equipment.
Reusing Old Packaging
At the core of our eco-friendly approach is a strong commitment to reducing waste. We believe that even small changes can make a big difference to our planet. This is why we’ve taken steps to reuse old packaging materials wherever possible.
In our studio, we’ve fostered a culture of resourcefulness. Every cardboard box, bubble wrap, and packing material is seen as a valuable resource. Before anything is thrown away, we carefully consider whether it can be reused. Sturdy cardboard boxes are given a second life as storage or shipping materials for our customer orders. Bubble wrap, once used for protecting fragile items, is repurposed to cushion products during delivery.
Environmentally Friendly Products
We are constantly seeking ways to upgrade and improve our packaging, making sure we recycle and use recycled materials as much as possible.
Sustainability goes beyond just the ingredients we use; it’s also about the people behind the process. Ethical practices ensure that everyone, from the farmers growing the raw materials to the artisans handcrafting the products, is treated fairly and works in safe conditions. By staying committed to fairness and transparency, we not only support the well-being of individuals but also help create a stronger, more connected community.
Sustainable practice and our community
Alongside our commitment to sustainability, we are strongly connected to our local community. We believe that businesses should give back and make a positive impact where they operate.
In addition to reusing materials ourselves, we’re finding new ways to share resources with the community. We work with local schools and community centres to donate reusable packaging for arts and crafts projects. This helps inspire creativity and teaches children about sustainability.
Our aim is not just to create high-quality products but to support the well-being of the people and places that matter most to us.
Your role in the journey
By choosing eco-friendly and ethically made home fragrances, you’re not just adding beautiful scents to your home—you’re also making a positive difference in the world. It’s an easy yet impactful way to support sustainability, back local economies, and promote ethical practices. Every conscious choice you make as a consumer helps drive change.
When we embrace eco-friendly home fragrances, we’re not only enjoying moments of peace and relaxation, but we’re also contributing to a larger movement for a sustainable and ethical future. Let’s continue to enjoy the luxury of fine scents while making choices that benefit both our well-being and the planet.
Why us?
When you purchase from us, you’re supporting the local economy. Even as a small business, we play a key role in Lancashire’s growth, and we are proud to contribute to it. We hope you choose to buy products made right here in the UK.
While we may be a small part of a bigger picture, by reducing plastic use across our business and redesigning collections to minimise or eliminate non-recyclable plastics, we’re helping our community in the fight against plastic pollution. Every step we take, no matter how small, contributes to a cleaner, greener future.
